Character Education Scotland is a new national charity working with schools, public and voluntary organisations and the business community to develop values based education and training. To support our work we have introduced the Character Development Awards which provide a new method of certification designed to recognise quality learning in values education and reward individuals of any age for developing and applying positive character attributes to the benefit of themselves and /or others.

Scottish Parliament Awards Event 14th June


The Learning for Life Values Poster Awards takes place in the Garden Lobby at the Scottish Parliament, 6pm on Monday 14th June 2010. This is the fifth year of these prestigious awards which are hosted at the Parliament courtesy of Iain Smith MSP. The best posters from 2010 will be on exhibition and prizes will be awarded to young people from across Scotland. The event is the chance to see first hand some exceptional work in values education and the transformational effect it has on young people and their aspirations and attitudes.
